Insurance shopping is broken. Five forms. Spam calls. Hidden commissions. Insuregear is the platform other comparison sites should have been — one tool, every line of insurance, ranked per user, with no spam.
To make finding the right insurance feel as easy as picking a song. Personalized to you, transparent on price, and free of the spam-call grind that defines the rest of the category.
Insuregear started with one observation: every popular insurance comparison site has the same playbook — collect the user's data, sell it to as many agents as possible, watch the user get hammered with calls. The result is profitable for the platform and miserable for the customer. The #1 complaint about every major comparison site in public review forums is the same: "Why am I getting all these calls?"
That's not insurance comparison. That's lead arbitrage with a friendly UI.
We built Insuregear to do what every customer assumes the category already does — compare carriers fairly, rank by what actually matters to that specific user, hand off to exactly one carrier when the user picks, and never resell their contact. It turns out that when you say "no" to the lead-aggregator playbook, you have to actually build a better product. So we did.
Cheapest isn't always best. Our matching engine weighs claims reliability, digital experience, agent access, and coverage breadth — not just sticker price.
The user picks a carrier. We send their info to that carrier — and nobody else. The avalanche of comparison-site calls dies here.
Auto, home, renters, health, life — same login, same wizard, same fit engine. Cross-shopping is built in, not bolted on.
We use AI where it earns its keep — personalized fit-scoring today, LLM intake shipping in 30 days, a trained ranking model when we have the data. We don't ship buzzwords.
CEO and Managing Director
Soundharya founded Insuregear with a clear mission: rebuild the insurance marketplace so consumers get personalized, trustworthy recommendations instead of spam calls and price-only rankings. She leads company strategy, product vision, and technology — overseeing the development of the platform's matching engine, edge-native infrastructure, and partnerships across carriers, MGAs, and data providers.
Prior to launching Insuregear, Soundharya built and shipped multiple consumer technology products at the intersection of finance and AI. She brings a builder's mindset and a long-term operator perspective to a category that has spent the last decade competing on advertising spend rather than user experience.
Insuregear is currently scaling its team across engineering, product design, growth, and operations.
We're early. We're hiring interns. We're raising. We're open to conversations.
